Blood is mostly water, but has formed elements inside of it making it thicker.

Hi Xmink, You can hate your brother or sister, but when something happens to one of them,BLOOD IS AWAYS THICKER THAT WATER. The family sticks together,no matter what.

Blood is thicker than water, except when the temperature falls below freezing. I agree with the meaning in the expression, but it masks the fact that not all familly bonds are healthy bonds.

but anyways.. yes i def. think blood is thicker than water.. i think that no matter what.. family will always be there.. and friends come and go.. i believe that my blood (family) is thicker (important) than water (friends).

I agree, because family is family. It's our duty as a member of our family to put our family members before any other individual. If own family members won't be willing to side with blood in any case than blood and water wouldn't have a difference.

yah it's definitely thicker, cos if u put blood and water into a sieving bowl, water will pass thru first. Cos it's more "diluted". Therefore, blood is thicker. :)

I absolutely agree... there are platelets, minerals, elements, and definitely iron in your blood...
plus if you put a drop of blood into a glass of water ... the blood sinks...

agree, because blood sinks in water, below the surface is where it's at. lol. no i agree because no matter what, the people that matter most are blood, not just family.

It has a lot more stuff in it. My blood is very thick, water is not so thick,. Salt water is sort of thick, but not as thick as blood. Water under the bridge is best forgotten about, tho.
