This question is not meant to offend anyone. I have known many homosexuals over the course of my life, and many have told me that they were abused as children. I hear people (at least on the news) say they were born that way (which I believe is true in many cases), but I wonder what percentage.

It is quiet possible that some of them are but most of them are just born that way and i wish other people would excepted this fact for they are human just like any one else. For i have know some and they were love people

When people of all walks of life(even clergymen)behave this way do you think that this was as a result of some molestation.Why can't you accept these people are no different to everyone else in the community.When I was a boy at school,the devil's deciples had to sit at the front of the class.Do you believe these maligned children were persecuted and tarnished because they were Left-handed.They were forced to write and eat with thier r/hand Today we are more enlightened,but we still think if people are different These people are the new devil's deciples.
When was the last time you heard of a homosexual molesting a child or indeed another adult.(I'm not meaning the fiends who molest children)These are consenting adults.Let them live thier lives in respect and dignity

My belief is that they chose to be that way and not because of abuse. I do know homosexuals but haven't really asked them if they were abused since I dont feel that it's my need to know. Maybe they were born that way but who knows.

Yes we are created from nature and nurture or lack of it. So have U any memories of child hood? Of course they born & learned they prefered same sex friends. So that's not too hard 2 understand. The percentage is often said 2 b 10% of population that is gay /lez.

No, I know PLENTY of heterosexuals who were abused as children. It's not a choice they made, it's just the way they are. They're here, they're queer, get used to it.
