Probably you'll get different answers but I suggest you go to the library & check into Consumer Reports magazine. They rate phones once a year so it would be in the last 12 mos you'd find it. The issues have an index in the back to help you find the article quickly. I bet they have a website.

i have a LG VX8300 and I LOVE it. The speaker phone is loud and clear and the screen and pictures are very clear.
