Go to the website to check specific requirements.
It depends on what faculty you're applying to as to how competitive it is. Arts are generally less competitive than sciences.

I went to the UofA. It is an excellent university and it has a great reputation.

If your marks are not competitive, you can apply to another faculty and then transfer once you're in. Or consider transfer programs with Grant MacEwan or other local colleges.

this would be a good place to look ..
from what I know.. you just need the marks.. about a 70% average for most departments. and have the high school courses that the department requires.
though you should look at what field of study you want to enter and it will give you the specific requirements
