While searching for a greeting I found one for those born on Sept 11th. As my birthday also falls on a tragic day that will live in infamy, I was curious how a 9-11 birthday greeting would be composed, especially since Yahoo singled out that date, indicating something would be different about it than other greetings. I was appalled. The greeting should be deleted. How to tell the honchos?

Don't. That's the reaction they want and it will generate more sales because now it's taboo....

I appreciate that you have suffered a loss due to the tragic events of that day. However, erasing reminders does not erase hurts, or memories. That day was different to other days, if only for the magnitude of death which occurred. That being said, there have been other tragic days with larger losses of innocent lives, which are remembered without being put on greeting cards.
Good luck with trying to have it removed, but, having looked at it, I could not find it offensive. Perhaps insensitive, in that Sept 11 is indirectly being used to promote a commercial site.

I did not see it so I really do not know what you were appalled about... I suspect though that it could not have been offensive and that maybe you should take another look at it and keep an open mind when doing so.
