let's just put it this way: I know someone who is always being accused of something he didn't do, but feels he always feels guilty about it and feels like he did it. Even if he is accused of somthing little.

It makes perfect sense to me. Well, when someone accuses you of something repeatedly and persistantly, eventually you get the illusion that maybe you did do it, as there might not be another reason for them to keep on making the accusations in the first place if you had done nothing. In the case of Patrick Star, when someone accuses him of something, he believes it immediately because he's an idiot. But in a real human being, it takes a while for the pressure of being accused leads to nightmares, hallucinations, and all that crap. It's like hypnotism: there is the power of suggestion. Eventually, the person will reach his or her limit, break down, and just lose all confidence as to what is real. The person will just believe everything and forget the truth.
Ok, now I get the feeling that my answer is totally off and does not answer your question at all. Oh well.

Yeah, I have a psycho boss that comes up with the most insane accusations. Not only do I feel guilty, I feel paranoid that other people will believe this nut case.

Not a damn bit, but here is some great advice
"Live never to be ashamed if anything you do or say is published around the world..even if what is published is not true"
Translation: be happy with the person you know yourself to be, and the rest won't matter.
