an old friend of fine has changed so much in the looks department, but has become a cold hearted guy now- and yet he wants me to remain friends with him.

Yes people can change dramatically. What I find worse though, is when people never change. Never evolve. That, to me, is even sadder.

IT'S NOT SO MUCH THAT PEOPLE CHANGE, THEY JUST CHANGE FACES.
WHAT I MEAN IS THAT PEOPLE LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE A CERTAIN WAY, AND THEN WITHOUT ANY WARNING, BAM, THE FAKE FACE COMES OFF AND THE REAL ONE IS REVEALED.
I HAVE FOUND THAT PEOPLE ARE TWO-FACED. THEY SAY ONE THING AND DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE, OR THEY SAY THEY CARE ABOUT YOU AND THEN YOU CATCH THEM TALKING ABOUT YOU BEHIND YOUR BACK, AND THEN THERE'S THE LITTLE SNIDE COMMENTS AND INUINDOS THAT PEOPLE MAKE TO ONE ANOTHER ABOUT YOU RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE, AND IF THAT DON'T BEAT ALL, THEY HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU WON'T FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING, AND WHEN YOU DO, TNEY DENY, DENY, DENY.
IN THE PAST FEW YEARS, I HAVE FOUND PEOPLE TO BE A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. SAD BUT TRUE.

yea, unfortunatly they do. Sometimes they need a old friend to give them a reality check when they do change. Good luck.

Yes indeed! my cousin use to be nice and thoughtful now she a snobby bitc*! because her husband and baby son died so she got lots of money from it now she thinks she is to good for anyone!
