Are you in the UK? If so, was there a formal disciplinary meeting held before you were dismissed? Were you provided with a written account of the charges against you - invited to a formal meeting to discuss this in which you had the right of representation - and was there any form of appeal to the decision?

If not (and you're in the UK) it sounds to me like you'd have a strong case for unfair dismissal.

There are certain things that most corporations have no tolerance for and are obliged to perform immediate terminations. Violence, talk of future violence and racial slurs.

The best thing you can do right now is go back to your former Human Resources and tell them your side of the story. Try to work it out with them first.

This is against the law! They have to have proof & cannot fire you for one mistake!I would go to court over this! Or get proof the other person lied to get your job.
I think your boss will find out themselves in a little while though. If they will do this to you, then others will be lied on too.Apattern will be seen if the boss is sharp!
