yes i have, i tipped the girl $20 on a $40 bill, then called the manager the next day to let them know hoe excellent the service was.

I used to be a supervisor at a grocery store; the vast majority of people who ask for a manager do so to complain rather than compliment. I got about 1 compliment for every ten complaints service-wise.

Yes I have, when people put forth a great effort, it is polite to notice, compliment, AND THANK THEM for it. It is VERY important in life to thank people, always make that phone call, and thank someone personally, it really goes much further than you think ! and most important, when THEY need help that YOU ARE THERE FOR THEM ! When someone asks me a favor, I wait untill they are half way through the request, then I interupt with "DONE", then I do what ever it takes to accomplish the mission, without any details to them, it just gets DONE right away !

Ha ha! No never had.. Although I have asked to speak to chef at a Greek restaurant before. We told them the food was excellent.

no i havent...i wish i could though. i am gratious and thankful to those individuals in the service industry who go above and beyond their minimum wages though. its a shame to be surprised when someone gives you kindness instead of a nasty and expected attitude when you are, well, at any store for that matter or restaraunt.

i was almost on my way 2 speak 2d resto manager coz of d bad & late service but then i didnt bother..

we're simply not goin there again...
