I started my period on November 25th. Other than about 2 days it stopped, it's been going ever since. It's strange, it stops while resting and sleeping but once I get up and go to work, about an hour after being on my feet, I get a sudden gush and it goes for a while and then slows down.
I have never had any type of problem like that. I have always been heavy but never an extended period of time. I'm getting abdominal and lower back pain, I feel like an old lady. (but I'm only 30)
Birth control to regulate is not an option, I'm allergic. No I am not pregnant, my bf is a virgin.
Anyone had this happen to them? How long can it possibly last?????

I have a friend that went through that & hers was caused from stress. Someone else told me that theirs was caused by a cystic fibroid tumor & Mine was caused by tissue build up. You need to see a doctor. An Ob/Gyn. Good luck!

You could have fibroids which can cause abdominal back pain and unusually heavy or prolonged bleeding.

my mother did this and she was dx with a fibroid tumor. I would definitely get to a doctor to see what is going on. You can become anemic depending on how much blood volume you are losing.

not sure what's going on. if you're not pregnant, and not mis-carrying, a period on and off for 3 weeks is not normal at all. you should call your GYN immediately.
