If you have to ask then I say no.
I bought xbox (not 360) solely for halo 2 without question.
I plan on buying Nintendo wii just for smash bros. brawl.
However it IS worth buying to play tekken and all the other fighting games and RPGs that is going to come out with it later.
Of all the systems PS3 is the only one worth getting (if you have money for it)

Buying a console just for some sequels huh? Seems like a waste for that purpose, but for the time being the ps3 is the cheapest blu-ray disc player.

well if you love tekken that much i guess it might be, but you should never buy a system thats $500-$600 for just two games

yes, you should buy it, you say for these 2 games, but when you open it your gonna love the playstation3, im a happy onwer, and you will not be disappointed, with everything you can do on it already, its a wise investment, i say YES!.
