i believe it has to do with the fact that love is always viewed as the love between two or more living beings. when one sees someone deeply in love with another person, they seem so close together, for example hugging, that not even air can pass in between them. when two beings are close together, body heat is transferred and that is why i believe love is always pictured as warm, because that is what lovers experience when they are together, warmth

maybe because of what a mother's love is.
when you are around your mom, you usually feel safe & secure and when you were young, warm.
maybe it is also because warmth fills you up, like drinking hot chocolate on a snowy day. so, when saying "his warm embrace" it probably means full-filling.
warmth is almost always a sign of safety and/or relief.
hoping i helped a bit.

Body temperature probably has something to do with where it came from. The warmth of someone's body when you hug them, for example.

Because "warm" is a feeling... it is soothing and makes one feel comforted...... So is love.....
Though a feeling, cold cannot describe love..... because it is not bitter....unrelenting nor does it kill growth like one with a cold heart.....
