Linus retold it best:
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Doing for others. Perhaps showing appreciation with a gift. But if a person can't afford the gift giving then it is not important. Christmas is about love. Being with family.

People worried over the fact that the their child couldn't get the popular toy that was sold out.Temporary kindness to others record retail store profits.Hatred to others who don't believe in christmas.False charities. Excessive alcohol consumption.A nice relaxing holiday from work unless you have to work.Sadness upon the realisation Santa is not real.I wish I was still a child life was simpler.

It's the day when everyone tells me how special I am and how much they did or didn't spend on me, and then I make them feel ridiculed for not getting me something $50 or more. OR they didn't get me what I wanted, and they should be punished, so I strap them down and make them watch countless episodes of FULL HOUSE with NO commercial interruptions so they can get all the horror of Bob Saget when he's NOT funny.
PS- and they have to eat dog food and listen to 'oops I did it again'

Busy stores and traffic, endless Christmas commercials from retailers selling things, and having one day of the year that feels special apart from the other 364.

Chrismas is about the love in our hearts. It's about making the world a better place. It's about peace. It's about the birth of Jesus Christ.

Giving, without expecting anything in return. Demonstrating your feeling towards your friends and family. And lastly, being thankful we all made it through another year in one piece.
