to foreign travellers: matrempits is a bunch of stupid young malay motorbikers doing some illegal motorbike racing on public roads. Just becareful and try not to mess with them
to malaysians: can you comment this phenomenon ? What,where,when,why, who, how,..... etc.

yes i agree with Boss, policemen's were also harassed my these guys..just stay away form them, they like to race on the roads, when u see these kind of people, just give them way, if not they may cause trouble like throwing something at your car or even try to hurt you and then they get on their bikes and ride off before the police could come..these are usually done by Malay teenage boys that likes to race and pull stunts while riding on their bikes. And they come in groups. So be carefull..

2. BUT lacking of love towards people surrounding em
3. Die hard biker fan, would makan, tido and mati for bike
4. Forget on their ability to purchase a kancil/ ferarri?
5. makes too much noise with their tiny bike
6. waste petrol
7. their macho-ness increase parallel with loudness of "vroommmm"
- BOSS: some of them are really smart la, they modify their tiny bike so that they can end up flying.. i wouldnt be able to do that. even the engineers from kawasaki was impress with these kids.

I was actually a robbed in Kuala Lumpur in the late 90s and the local police did nothing about the crime. It was a sad thing that they claim it's safe in Malaysia but in fact it's just like everywhere.

what i know is 99% are Malays...young teenage boys. I wonder where are their parents, maybe they don't get enough love at home that's why they do this to take away their frustrations

yeah..I've been in Malaysia n those called them self matrempit is a bunch of guys with bike do messing thing on the road.they r just like road bully..not forget they will snatch ur thigs
