I am going to take Birth Control pills, and I was told to wait until I started my period. I started today, so when should I take it? Someone told me to wait until the sunday after I start, would that be wise, or should I start now??

normally, you start taking the pills on the first day you see the blood.

No you can start taking it while you're on your period. But you do have to wait until Sunday cause the pill week starts on Sunday. also you half to take the pill at the same time every single day. Ive been on and off the pill since I was 13.

most people start a new pack the Sunday after their period. so, if you get your period on say Tuesday or wednesday, and even if you still have it on Sunday, start then.
try to take the pill at the same time (within 1 hour over or under) every day. many people take it near bedtime to help them remember what time, and also, it cuts down on possibility of stomach upset.
once you've been on it for a few months, your period will become like clockwork.

Find the pill in the coloured section that corresponds to today and take that today if you like.
Remember that the hormone pills are the ones not in the coloured section and that you need to take a weeks worth of those before you are protected from a birth control point of view.

Either is fine. Most start on Sunday after their period. Some start on day one. Sup to you.

its best to take them when you are off your period. try three days after your period.
