I recently fell on a close hand, hitting the hand from the front. I believe I broke it right behind the knuckle on my pinky, on the hand side, not the finger. I'm avoiding the doctor because I don't have insurance, but I need to go... what should I expect to pay for xrays and to get it set, and all that? Thanks!

prob 80 for films, 50 -100 to get them read, 150 for the ortho guy. If its in alignment, and the finger is functional with full sensation, consider a self made splint for 4-6 weeks.

in my office, $30 per x-ray, and I would at least have to take two, for opposing views. medical doctors charge a lot more and hospitals charge even more than MDs. I am a chiropractor.
Aslo, depends on if you need surgery, type of splint, etc.
