What if white people were in slavery instead of black people, what would the world be like today?

Well we would have gotten over it and not used it as an excuse for everything.
Much like the Jews have that have been enslaved far longer than blacks and far more often, and now they are a formidable business force.
I mean that was over 150 years ago, how long does it take a group of people to get there **** together. In today's world it is not the whites fault that blacks are dropping out of school at record rates, committing disproportionate numbers of violent crimes and going to prison, or destroying the family unit by having 5 kids they can't support with 5 people. That is not anybodies fault but the individuals but whites are scapegoated with holding people that do those things down. In this day and age anybody that has the drive and will can go to school, get an education, a job, have decent credit, and all the good things. It is also not the fault of the white people that when a black succeeds legitimately in life he is called a sell out or accused of acting white. These are problems in the black community that blacks need to fix.

So I don't think it would be that different.

White were enslaved in times past. The Persians enslaved countless numbers of Greeks, the Roman Empire had slaves of every race, including white Europeans. Slavery is a universal problem that has existed from the creation of man.

White people were always in slavery throughout history. So were blacks,asians,Indians,Polynesians,etc. Any conflict or war between two opposing groups stimulated slavery. The Mongolian hordes under the ruler Ghangis Khan enslaved people form all kinds of lands including; China,Russia,Persia and their native Mongolia.
African tribes who were and are constantly at war did the same thing. They captured P.O.W,'s or prisoners of war and used them for slave labour or exchanged them for their own captured people. Slavery was not invented by some evil white men first.
I have the feeling you'd like to see that day happen. Whites enslaved by blacks. You must also remember that the actual percentage of Europeans who owned slaves or were involved in slavery was not 100% or even 10%. Only certain nations had navys and ships. The English,Spanish,Dutch,French and Portuguesse. The amount of people compared to all of the white people on Earth that owned or smugled slaves was small and it was for a very short time on the grand time scale of mankinds existance. Go ahead and divide the length of time a small percentage of blacks were enslaved to a small percentage of whites for a small percentage of time into the 500 000 years of existance of what some consider modern man and what you're looking at is basicaly a meaningless infinitesinal number. So,if blacks were enslaved for 400 years by some whites on the time scale of modern man's time or 400years/500 000 years = 0.08% of the time that blacks were enslaved by whites on this planet. Look at a map of Europe and the various populations. But, let's try and move on. Im sure all of the worlds population has ancestors who were enslaved by other gorups at some point in history or pre-history. Black on Black violence and White on White violence and asian on asian vilolence has caused more death and destruction than anything.I can gurantee that my ancestors or all of the white people I've ever known had no black slaves in their family's past.
If whites were enslaved starting tommorow. Worst case scenario; It would be like it is in Haiti, Somalia,Ethiopia,Sudan or any place like that.Basically,Hell on Earth. Were there's frequent rapes, machette weilding gangs running around,lawlesness and everything that strongly reminds one of Hell. Good case scenario; The Cosby Show.The Fresh Prince of Bel Air or some carribean island with fancy resorts and happy blacks smiling. But,look at what happened in South Africa after most of the whites left. It went form not so good to not safe for anyone. If you're black and you walk through an all white neighbourhood in America. The odds that you will make it alive or not-robbed,shot at,cursed at etc. to the other side are probably a lot better than vice versa.

I can hardly see how the skin color the people who were enslaved would affect the outcome of events. I think the difference would be that more white people would be in lower income areas today, and that african americans would hold more positions in upper class jobs. The only difference would be a switch in skin colors. People are people, regardless.

I dont think its right for any to be a slave. this was not right of our fore fathers to bring the black people over her and make them slaves. But do we all have to suffer for what they did?
