My pregnancy is going good, but I am so tired, that I am not even working at the moment. I am so exhausted and weak. I was this way with my daughter to, only I don't remember it being this bad. Is this normal, to have to quit work and sleep more then the cat. Getting out of breath from a simple set of stairs??

I am almost 13 weeks...

HI, i would check your labs next prenatal visit. Ask about anemia (low iron) and make sure you're eating well! You should be eating a good 'clean' protein, whole fruit or veggie and a complex carb (no white stuff) and perhaps a diet plan of three meals and three snacks daily. And as always shoot for 2 liters of water a day. Lastly, it may be your body's way of taking care of baby. Just remember this will pass! It is only a season.

It could be something simple as vitamins or not getting enough rest. But if this continues you need to see your doctor. It may be something that you can correct or it may be something you really need to get taken care of now so that you will be healthy during your complete pregnancy. I know I was tired all the time, but it is always different for everyone.

Have your doctor check your B12.

I was really tired. Tired is okay, but there comes a point when you're to tired. Anyways mine was low and he got me taking an extra supplement along with my prenatal vitamin and my enegry boosted right back up.

I was like that with my boys. Both. My daughter was the easiest pregnancy ever. With them though I literally slept for 15 hours a day. If not more. It was awful.
