Emergency rooms will always see anybody regardless of insurance status... Thats the way the system was structured. If you have questions about depression or thoughts of suicide I think you definately need to talk to someone... Anyone... 1 800 273 TALK, or 1-800-SUICIDE...
If you feel you need insurance to talk to someone... then find blue cross blue shield in the phone book and call them next...
But seriously.. call someone who can help...

Oh tough it out sweetheart, I have been suicidally depressed for over 4 decades and I've never seen a therapist's couch and you know what? Ok, that was angry..here is my story and it's kind of long...
When I was 21 I was ready to jump off the 10th floor of the Science building because I was in so much pain I couldn't go on. The next thing I know I am in class and my professor is asking me why I was late and I honestly said "I got Lost"
The next day weird of weird I got out of bed 3 hours before school started so I went to the campus. A Korean girl had just jumped from the very same spot I was in the day before...
THAT was the day that I said I would NEVER feel that much pain, whatever the cost...because I was in the most pain I had ever felt but I DIDN'T jump, and that other girl did...her pain was so much more than I could ever imagine that I decided to stop being so imaginative...
Now when I get that way I scream, or I write, or I sprint until I can't breathe....WHATEVER..
Because it does pass...it always has after that day.
Sweet Dreams.

Most communities offer low cost/no cost mental health clinics. Call the United Way for referral, check the Yellow Pages, call the county health department, or check with the emergency room of your local hospitals.

Look for mental health clinics in your area. The base your treatment on your income. If you need meds and such you will be able to get them there also for cheaper costs than at a pharmacy.

Just go to your local hospital and tell them that you are an illegal alien and that you demand health care for your problem. They have to treat you and us citizens must pay for your treatment - sucks, doesn't it?
