Ive seen studies done that do state gamers at pro levels in any form of game tend to have faster reaction times and are able to solve problems easier than most other people.

It takes a gamer to know a gamer. From what I've observed, gamers do have better reaction time. My friend did the advanced level of minesweeper clocked below 200 seconds and he's good in math.

Depends on the types of games you play. RTS (real time stratergy)(games like age of empires and command and conquer games) and adventure games probley wont. FPS (first person shooter)(games like counter strike and ghost recon) will. But if you are interseted in really increasing you response time there are a lot more better alternatives

It depends on type of game, if you are playing what is commonly called a "twitch" game then yes it does. The game will require you to do actions faster, and you will be rewarded with points, or staying alive. It is operent conditioning. Your mind works faster so that you will be rewarded.
