But I think she might be loney. Do you think it's a good idea to buy Another parrot? & if it is a good idea to buy another one should a get a female or male? & how old? Does it matter? Or does it just depend on her? ( Yes I know I know, nothing about parrots xD)

Oh & also do you know of any good parrot books &/or websites?

Ok first of all, make sure it is a female. if it is she needs a mate, probably better to get a male - if yours is female, also make sure it is the same species as your parrot. The best people to give advice are your vet and a good pet shop that specialises in parrots.

If you want online information, there are stacks of websites, maybe just google the species of parrot that you have.

If you dedicate plenty of time to your little parrot they don't need the company of another parrot. ive got six birds and other than laying eggs they mind their own business. but if you leave the house constantly and dont spend time with her than she might be lonely. I suggest a lovebird. they are cute, spunky, colorful, and if you set your mind to it you can teach it to talk.

Well, since it is your parrot, in my opinion, spend time with it. It lives with you, it stays with you. Spend time with it. My opinion.

my bird acted like that and i swear we got a mirror and he loves it.... he thinks he has a twin to mess with...
