How can we make rock music popular again?

Real rock'n'roll, not old people like Bob Dylan and Neil Young getting nominated for Grammys when they're well past their prime.

ROCK is the best genre of music because it changes over the years in so many things, unlike rap and other pathetic stuff...
in the 70s you had so much experimentation, the 80s, the 90s were decades with typical rock that died within those decades. In 2000s, there was a rebirth of garage rock, new wave, indie rock and alternative... there is a huge british wave of musicians appearing right now, and Im sure that soon there will be a new genre within ROCK, Im just waiting for this day!!!

From what I have been seeing and hearing, hip hop, although I like it alot, is dying.There are a bunch of 80's metal bands getting together and touring.These 2 things tell me that rock is about to explode back onto the scene.It has never died, it just got pushed to the rear, but it is coming back.We need some radio stations to start playing more rock, and less of todays music.Judas Priest's song revolution says it best in the first 2 lines-"IF YOU THINK IT'S OVER, BETTER THINK AGAIN" It is truely time for the revolution.

Here is the problem. Producers want to make as much money as they can do they create bands such as Devo. They also believe that rock n roll is the most pirated genre. It seems that nobody is interesting in downloading hip hop and rap.

The only way anybody is going to hear rock anymore is if they find bands on the internet promoting themselves. Producers know that people are too lazy to do that.

I was not aware that it ever left.I still listen to old and modern rock and play rock and metal on my drums.My drums will need to file for spousal abuse sometime soon cause I beat the hell out of them.

lol yeah right in your dreams rock so bad that it faded into dust and its really not around anymore so nobody wants to listen to that garbage and it the worst music genre there is hands down
