People didn't have to take the seeds out of the cotton by hand. -James Watt improved the: STEAM ENGINE. Steam still powers ships today. The steam engine was a very important factor in the industrial revolution, it provided a fast and easy transportation for people, products, and other necessities. Faster shipping. -Railroads. -One invention that was particularly important in the development of industrialism was the railway, it embodied the industrial power and social shock of the early industrial revolution. It changed the world today because we still use railroads. It is really helpful. -also more inventions: the flying shuttle, spinning jenny, and the water frame.
