Whoo, thinking ahead are we? If it was me, I would have to go with the Sterling Silver. Its adorable. But if shes got dark hair and a pale complextion, she can pull off the Onyx beads. It will balance out her hair color.

I would say the sterling silver graduated beads one
it would really pop against her face and against her darker hair and lighter skin
if you got the black one (i think) it would be a little bit to dark but the silver one would add a nice touch

You can't go wrong with a little blue box from Tiffany's either way. My husband gives me one every year for my birthday and it still gives me a thrill.
Personally, I like the silver beads. They do look more elegant and special. What's her other jewelry like? What pieces does she wear most often?

Definetly the black onyx beads... definetly fits her look.... by the way.... why not a diamond necklace or something cuter.... but that is just fine too.
