i have found out what my mother board is but i want to add a graphics card i have an intel graphics media accelerator and the only place for this grapics card would be on the pci express slot would this afect my accelerator and what one should i get?

Hi,

In fact, your "Accelerator" is only the brand name for Intel's onboard video cards. It won't affect anything if you disable it and install a PCI-Express video card ;) Actually, it will be a LOT better with a new video card.

The two major brands are nVidia and ATI. There is no "best card" for you. It depends what you need. Do you do a lot of gaming ? What kind of games ? Would you need video inputs ? outputs ? TV/Satellite Input? Outputs? You have to ask yourself these questions and we'll be able to choose a good card for you.

I'm a guy but don't think for a minute i'm interested in anything you just said, thats for computer whizzes, i like cars and engines and football, but good luck with your problem.

disable ur intel graphics and buy ATI card better for da pc
