Will I have to pay anything to use the "free" Yahoo messenger PC to PC calling?!?

I was going to download the Yahoo Instant Messenger to possibly use what they call free calls PC to PC (if you have microphone & headset). I can't figure out if this service is free or if the PC to PC is free after they bill you for some monthly charge?!

it is free they only charge you to make pc to land line phone calls or to cell phones
