I got a job offer in Dubai and the company is paying me AED 5650 including HRA and transportation. I want to know whether it will be worthy to live in Dubai with this cost. I have a family of three, i.e me, my wife and a six months baby. Also in which area & where i could find cheap accommodation in Dubai.

Its A Lil Tight living here with that salary, for a bachelor its a decent salary, but if you have to pay the housing & you have a family here in Dubai, then it tends to get difficult.

If you prefer to walk on the rope..... You may consider. In general, a single bed room flat costs 40,000 Dhirams per Annum. Plus water & Electricity charges, say 150/- per month. You need 2000/- on an average for a conservative living with a small family. Till medical is not an issue, you are safe. Medical is very expensive and Taxi in Dubai is pocket drainer. Think 100 times before making a decision. With today's cost of living in Dubai a salary of atleast 8,000 Dhirams could serve the basic needs to lead a conservative family life. Forget savings.

the offer is good or not depends on what ur qualifications r and what post u r offered. if u dont have any degree and experience then its a good start .
u can take a chance and get some experience here say of two yrs then switch to a better paying job later armed with some local experience . now that u dont have a schooling kid it is ok to cover ur expences and live ur life simple untill u have some increment or u r read to switch .

No Way...

AED 5,650 ($1554.00)

You need to atleast being earning AED 7,500 ($2063)
as living in Dubai is very expensive campare to other Gulf countires.

+ You will need to cover other needs as Grossies, Home Furniture, & other various daily expensives...

Which you need to full-fill... as you have a wife & a 6months old baby...

Do your research before landing into Dubai...

Make a good choice!
