No way, dilute Listerine and water 50/50- if you just use Listerine you could get thrush. Also, suck on some ice chips and take advil, it will have antiinflammatory effects and help your tongue go back down to normal size. FOr the first few days --> DO not talk a lot and do not eat food that has to be chewed a lot~. When I got mine done years ago, I just ate like jello, slurpies, stuff like that for the first few days. And rinse your mouth frequently!

No please don't do it! neosporin is NOT for the mouth. just use the rinse they gave you or told you to use! Listerine and something else. I'm not sure about it though! check back with the piercer!

try a lozenge or oral spray or gel with local anesthetic like lidocaine in it, or take some over the counter painkillers e.g. brufen or paracetamol. if it's swollen or if there's discharge from it or you have fever go see a dr.
