I did 6 and some change in Texas penitentury I was in an Aryan gang for about 4 1/2 of those years. When everything is taken from you and your treated like a caged animal, all you got is you and hopefully some down bros watchin' your back. You can't know what racism is until you experience that. All 3 groups stay apart from the other. Tension and drama 24/7. Whites are differant ,so are blacks, so are vatos can we not say that anymore? It started like all our problems;Politicians, a man wants a vote so bad he dare not say anything to offend anyone, so it's "Were all equal,I love everybody", then it's election, change laws and let the next generation worry about it. Were differant accept it. Look at pro football, basketball, track all black. Look at a list of inventors and scientists;White. In the pen people knew who I was and what I stood for and I've had many blacks tell me they respect me for not hidin' it .Its the ones they don't know about that spooks them

Well, my son attends a school where the majority of the students are black. He comes home every single day with complaints of racist attacks against him. He is called everything from whitey to cracker and much worse. He is never referred to by his name. Nothing at all has been done to punish these kids for their actions, in fact when I called to bring it to the attention of the dean he specifically let all the children know that my son had told on them, making his life a living hell at that school. I withdrew my child from that school after having already paid a years worth of tuition and am battleing to get a refund. You can rest assured that if my son were to make the slightest reference to a racist term he would have been suspended or even expelled, not to mention beat up severely.
Segregation comes in many forms, and permitting racist remarks by any race to another is just enforcing seperatism. Many people will say that having racist attacks against white people be acceptable is just fair because of all the years that the tables were turned. I think that it is high time to stop the madness. I teach my children to treat ALL people with common courtesy and respect, I think if everyone did that, the world would be such a happy place.
At a minimum though, our public figures and school officials, actors and athletes should try to be positive role models by not ever using race as a weapon or as a tool.

The problem with kramers tirade is this... there was no joke. He was blitzed out of his mind and he was bombing anyway. He went off to deflect the audiences attention away from the fact that he just wasn't funny. There was no context for what he said, it was just him alienating the crowd.
And Jamie foox wants his career to keep moving forward, he is not about to alienate anyone who will buy a movie ticket... white, black or other.
Comedy should be eqaul opprtuinty because no matter what color you are, people are all funny at some point and time

The N word has long negative history. The insults you mentioned above don't have much of a history they are simply insults. There are many stories behind the N word. The N is just as bad as saying Hitler is a wonderful man that did a commendable job of killing the Jewish people. There is always going to be someone to keep the N word alive whether a rapper calling his peers the N Word or a racist at an intimate family gathering swaping stories about 1945

It is kinda being blow out of whack. People are making a big deal out of it. I think that if Jamie Foxx said stuff about white people it wouldnt be taken are far as Michael's comments. I think its stupid that people have a heartattack over stuff like that. You kinda see that when things are said about blacks its an issue to everyone, but when things are said about whites its hardly a touched subject. I really dont think we should jump all over stuff like this because sometimes people say things they dont mean, and people need to not be so ready to jump down people's throats all the time.

This was all blown out of proportion. Of course it would of been different if he was black. It's a double standard. White people can't say derogatory terms, black people can. It's whatever. And no that doesn't make me racist.

yes it would be, sadly, "racism" today is primarily directed towards white people, don't get me wrong, we (as a race) have done many disturbing things throughout history but everything that is done now, is based upon things we did before our lifetime, personally being a 19 yr old WASP, i dont see race, but am constantly reminded of things in our history i can't control
