I made a decision at 17 thinking that I was old enough to make that decision to lose it. I regret it now... Majority of my friends regret it too.. I say wait till you really are sure, otherwise you'll end up dissapointed.

Teenagers, for the most part, are not mentally prepared to handle sex. Nor are they financially prepared if a pregnancy happens. I was 18 when I lost my virginity and that was too young. I would wait until you really feel ready and until you find someone that you have feelings for.

I would say if you don't know then DON"T!! Speaking as someone who knows, I had my daughter at 17, if your not sure than I would say you know the answer. It depends on the person. Some people are ready as a teenager and by that I mean at least 16 or 17! Don't let your partner push you into any thing your not ready for. And if you think/know your ready, please, PLEASE use protection!!!!!!! You can go to your locale Planned Parenthood and get condoms or birth control of any form. They can also talk to you if you have any questions that are of a personal nature. Be smart and safe.

Immature sex can be a fun ride but is emotionally shallow and can leave you feeling empty and hollow.

When you grow up and want a real relationship is when it becomes making or an expression of love, you will enjoy this more.

Have sex when YOU feel you are ready, and not due to peer pressure. Having sex beforehand is no good for anyone.
