I am getting married on the 26 and am looking for someplace we can all go eat afterward. It does not have to be anything too special. A buffet could work too. It is going to be a no host dinner for about 30 to 40 people. I would like to be able to order a cake preferable from the resturaunt although if you want to suggest a good bakerie go ahead.
Thanks.

That's a link to 61 buffet places in Vegas... includes price range and contact info for each... and if you click on the name of each restaurant you get more details about daily specials and what they serve etc... what forms of payment they accept.

I'd find a few that look promising and then call around and see if they will allow you to reserve an area of the restaurant. Some have "party rooms" or sectioned off areas for large groups.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding and best to you!

Oh... for the cake... there's a Costco on Martin Luther King Blvd, they do a beautiful full sheet wedding cake with filling of your choice for about $15 and it does 48 slices easily... but keep in mind that if you do a buffet, there will be desserts there as well... so if you do get a wedding cake, you might want to get little wedding cake boxes from a craft store for folks to take a piece of cake home in :)

The rehearsal dinner is usually after the Wedding Rehearsal. You will probably go to the Church (if its at a church) and go through the walking order and figure out were the wedding party will stand and sit and work out any kinks. Then the wedding party and maybe close family go to the dinner as a thank you from the bride and groom. You dress up in a Sundays best to a semi formal wear, depending on the restaurant and on what others will wear.

Golden Corral for buffet.
You could have it catered, or have a family member (s) make the food and serve it, it would be a whole lot cheaper than paying for meals. Your church probably has a kitchen/eating area for cheap.

Some people even just do a cake and punch get together afterwards and then you can go off to your honeymoon. Dillons has good cake and whipped frosting tastes like cool whip. Even Wal-Mart has that. Check your area for someone that makes cakes for a living.

Don't be cheap. Ask you family to give you money but spend it back on them. Use about $30/person, otherwise your guests/family will call you cheap for the rest of your life.
Since you're in Las Vegas, go to the Bellagio buffet.

If you can't afford to eat at a restaurant, have a nice catered-food at your new home.

Go to a hotel buffet. Most of the hotels have a buffet.

Well, you could call around. You are far too casual, but that is not my business. Call a wedding/catering service for this type of thing, gosh!
