Certainly, my hubby of 27 years (w/ 20+ of it being a military wife) are already living it! :o)
We built our dream house when he retired.
Out in the country & sitting on our porch swing on the front porch listening to the creek rushing by & crickets chirping is heaven.
Until the grandbabies all get her & distroy the quiet. :o)
Actually they live a couple of hours away so we are alone & enjoying it for most of the time! :o)
This is what you live for!
Charisma C: All of the years of lonliness & basically being a single parent are well worth it in the end!
He retired at 38 & I wouldn't trade him for all the money in the world.
He is a great husband, dad & grandfather.
And he spoils us all! :o)

Yes, I can. But we'll more likely be traveling somewhere rather than sitting on the front porch. Congratulations - a good marriage takes a lot of work and dedication! Be proud of it!

Not really. Our porch isn't big enough for us to both sit on at the same time. Maybe I'll get a bigger one someday.

glad you have a happy marriage. as for me , I am divorced and happy. I plan on finding a sugar daddy to love me for the sex goddess i am. when i do grow old , i will have so much botox and plastic surgery that I will always Look 20 something . maybe a good 30.

That's exactly where I picture us when we're old.. in rocking chairs, with lots of grass and trees all around. We're a couple weeks away from our one year anniversary!

there are some old couples i see outside and i want to give them a hats off, one time i saw an old woman on a wheelchair and her hubby is pushing her wheelchair...its so touching for me!!!
