Are you using XP or Win2000 or Win98.
Are you running java internet programs or java programs alone.
XP has no native java support.
Win98 is dead.
Win2000 have java support.
Java is really quite obsoleted.
Quick Answer: Do a reinstall of your OS after backing up your data.
