They do help you gain muscle provided u do exercise simultaneously.Many protein powders are available in the market.Mix the powder with some milk and u get a protein shake.

Absofreakinglutely. Your muscles are made of protein. Try whey protein, it is the easiest to absorb and one of the more complete and best tasting. If you are sensitive to milk though, get ready for some farts. The nice thing about pre-mixed, flavored protein powder is all you need is a shaker glass.
If you are looking to make smoothies with protein powder, I would stick to bananas and blueberries for the potassium and the antioxidants and they are easy to freeze. Those two, some vanilla protein powder, ice, a little frozen spinach (you won't taste it) and some water and you have low cal, high protein, and great taste.

Yes they do help.. you can eat stuff like fish and get the same results.. Muscle grow by tearing and repairing.. Thats why the extra protein helps.. GNC is a good place to buy... And men's health mag is a good place to find out what foods and health products are the best..

yeah very you can get huge but if your under 18 or even 20s for some people a lot of protein can be bad for you make sure what your taking is the approved stuff although the unapproved stuff works fantastic it can seriously hurt and even kill you you can get almost just as big with normal protein whey

Yes they are good. Protein cannot be converted to fat they can only ever be protein, so they go to building muscle. You have to get a protein powder supplement, I suggest GNC.

i am sure there are many nutritianal benefits to drinking protein shakes if your body can benefit from them - but nothing can replace a traditional - balanced intake from ALL the food groups on a daily basis - then you would not need those shakes. hard to do this tho - but it is the best method for a maintained - healthy body & mind

if you build up your muscle you'll be heavier.fat is lighter than muscle but it's more lethal.Muscle makes you heavy.
