I would say it's subconscious that he's hoping that you will have your period... fear about the pregnancy

My boyfriend had a dream similar to that. He dreamed he saw blood and figures I had a miscarriage. I had told him in the dream that maybe it was for the best, but actually he was sad about it. At this point he began to cry when he was telling me about this dream. He said the reason he thinks he dreamed this was because, our pregnancy was an unplanned one, and he thinks that if i had a miscarriage, i would get the idea that it would make him feel like he dodged a bullet, and that it would make him happy. But actually it would make him sad. I think it means that he's uncertain about how i think of the way that he thinks about it, or he's afraid that i have the wrong idea of what he actually thinks. Does that make sense? Maybe he's confused about how both he and you feel about the pregnancy. Maybe he feels like YOU would think he'd be happy if that happened to you. Perhaps you should share with each other the way you really feel about it, and the way you perceive that each other feels about it?

I think the blood symbolizes your boyfriend's fear of not being a good father and all the responsibility that comes with being a dad. I doubt he's psychic and I'm sure your baby will be healthy and happy. Just keep talking to your boyfriend and ask him how he feels about the situation every night before you go to bed. I know you're the one pregnant, but if he does have anxiety about being a father, do what you can to ease his mind. I'm sure you'll come out of this pregnancy as a happy family.

He probably just subconciously has a fear of you losing the baby or something bad happening, don't worry we all have crazy dreams or what I like to call them fear dreams. So unless he's had dreams like these come true a bunch of times before then stop worring it's nothing bad, it's actually quite normal. I used to have dreams all the time that I was going to lose my baby when I was pregnant, and it never happened I have since had my baby and she is just fine.

Well my guess is the pregnancy is one of the top things on his mind so he's dreaming about it. He may be scared that something will go wrong with the pregnancy which may be why he sees the blood. Or perhaps he is scared about the actual delivery and how it might go.

I don't think it has anything to do with him wanting you to be on your period at all. I think he is just having a dream. There is stuff going on with your body right now which is quite obvious, and he's dreaming about something bad happening. He's scared that you won't be safe or something.

People have weird dreams. :)

Its his fear of having a child that is not 100% okay.. deformity, sickness and so on.. i suggest you guys stay up on your physician visits. With him being there of course and not being afraid to ask questions. You guys should talk about the prenancy and the wellness of the baby as well, you'll ease his discomfort as well as your on, if any.

It means that he has a lot of mixed feelings about your pregnancy. He could be scared that you will have a miscarriage. Ask him about his emotional reactions to the dream, and you will have a better idea of what he feels about your pregnancy.

Good luck!

I know I had some weird dreams when I was pregnant... my husband too... he is probably just nervous about the new baby and it is showing in some freaky dreams.

It could mean he is nervous about the whole pregnancy/childbirth process. it doesn't mean anything bad is going to happen. I wouldn't worry about it. Just the fact that he's so focused on it could be the reason he keeps having it.
