It's about a young woman (I think she's about 26-27 years old). She isn't married (at that time, she was considered "old" for not being married) and her beauty is "fading." She was supposed to marry a young man in her youth but was talked out of it by a friend. The young man left and went into the navy for several years. Then, by coincidence, they meet again and since they share a group of friends, they meet often. She has a male cousin that has shown interest in her and the former fiance seems interested in another young lady. The question is then, will they or won't they fall in love with each other again?
