It is a phone, that when you turn it sideways, turns it into a keyboard type of thing which is used mainly for text messages. I would suggest you get a Sidekick 3 (which btw is only available "exclusively" from T-Mobile), if you were seriously into text messages or need to have email 24/7 or if you just really want a new phone that looks cool and technical...

i dont know too much about it but..
its a cell phone that is famous for allowing its users to use AIM and the internet for a flat fee of $20 a month

what is even a sidekick, i saw the guy the first one who answer and said it was a phone, well i dunno, i am not into phones or other gadgets except the ipod
