The Senate Majority Leader would be more or less considered the leader of the party when that party does not control the White House, He or She also sets the agenda for thier party, and what they would like to accompish in the Senate. They majority leader is responsible for commitee assignments in the senate, and all leadership positions are voted upon by thier party

collects a nice sized paycheck for ripping people off and screwing people over and back stabbing his co-workers and sleeping with his secretary and all the crooked stuff every other politician does only he's the leader!
