"reset" the router to factory settings using reset button. But after resetting u will have to reconfigure it since it is restored to factory settings. you might be knownig the default username and password (to login) and after that you can change username and password at anytime using login page.....

Is it running competently and also you wish to make a difference? Run routeprint in a DOS or CMD field. The default gateway is the router IP. Put that IP on a internet browser. When triggered for a login and password, simply click on login with out coming into some thing nor replacing the login and password. If that does not paintings take a look at method for username and admin for password. Check your documentation for the corporation's default username and password. If that has in some way transformed, you'll be able to nonetheless reset the router. Normally there is a reset button. Again verify your documentation.

Read the router's docs. If you never set a password, it's still at the factory default. If you've lost your docs, download a copy from Netgear's website. I'm too lazy to do that for you.

Your username and password is the one that you used for connecting to the internet. It would be the same one that you signed up for.

eg, I joined Singnet broadband. So my username is 12345@singnet.com.sg and password is abcdefg.

if you can't remember, then I suggest you call your ISP (internet service provider).
