Did anyone see Live with Regis and Kelly when Clay Aiken was on?

Did anyone see Regis and Kelly when Clay Aiken was on a few weeks ago? What happened on the show that everyone is talking about? I saw Kelly call into the View and set some stuff straight with Rosie, but that is all I saw.

I saw it. Basically, Clay was co-hosting and filling in for Regis. Kelly is obviously the star when Regis is away. So she was leading the show and Clay kept interrupting her trying to say something funny. He got frustrated that Kelly didn't let him ask stupid questions so he rudely covered her mouth with his hand. She was stunned and said that's a no-no and looked pissed. Then she said "i don't know where that hand has been". And people said she made an anti-gay comment, but the stupid thing is, Clay has never officially come out and SAID he's gay... so how can it be a homophobic comment? Rosie said Kelly was being homophobic and owes Clay an apology. Kelly said she did nothing wrong and Clay was the one being rude. I agree with Kelly. Having seen it myself, I thought what he did was uncalled for. Can you imagine covereing Barbara Walter's mouth? David Letterman's mouth? Bob Costas' mouth? That's not cool.

Yeah, pretty much as described above. Also Rosie said that Kelly would not have said that to a cute guy, which basically bashed gay clay some more. Rosie is a scary freak now and has no friends. I think clay stepped over the line. I mean, that is just getting way too close to someone. Sure i dont think he meant anything rude by it, but you just dont do that to someone unless you are really familiar with them, like close friends, family, gf/wife, etc. and obviously he and kelly aren't THAT close. I think the whole thing wouldn't have been so big if Rosie didnt put her political views into it as usual. Who cares what she thinks anyway? Remember when Rosie had her own show and tom cruise was popular? man how times change.

i did not see it live, but watched the clip on You Tube. you should check for it there. basically, Clay was filling in for Regis and they were interviewing someone (i forget who) and Clay put his hand over Kelly's mouth, i don't think he meant anything by it, but Kelly got a little upset, and told him "i don't know where that hands been". i would be upset if someone did that to me, but Rosie made a big deal and insinuated that Kelly is homophobic by saying that. Kelly said she meant it in the sense that she didn't want his germs in her mouth. it got blown way out of proportion...check the click on You Tube, it should still be there!

Clay put his hand over Kelly Ripa's mouth and she was all taken back and took his hand off her mouth and said I don't know where that hand has been? And then Rosie O'Donnell was all offended the next day saying that Kelly was ANTI-GAY! Whatever. It was made into something much bigger than it really was.

Yeah I saw it, It really wasn't that big of a deal and then for Rosie to call Kelly homophobic, what the hell. I guess she just needed the publicity.
