I am currently in college, struggling to get by. I am pretty sure I won't qualify, but it's worth a shot. Does anyone know any info on this? I am in Kansas currently...

Are you speaking in terms of an apartment or a home.
Guidelines vary for both so you may want to contact your local HUD office to inquire.
You never know if you may qualify unless you ask.....
