It's the economy stupid.
Remember that catchy slogan of the Democratic party in the 90's. While I do not agree with many of his policies I do agree with some. I agree with the war in I raq and I agree with his handling of the economy. I will leave Iraq for another discussion.
President Bush was handed arguably the worst economic recession since the great depression. With the burst of the Internet bubble, corporate scandal and stock inflation, and 911. Yet somehow unemployment is at lower levels than during the Clinton years and the stock market hits new records monthly. Please do not forget that not only rich people own stock most middle classers do to. Remember how every other news story in the 90's was about how good the economy was doing. Where are those stories now? All you ever hear about is outsourcing of jobs. If so many jobs are being lost as a result of outsourcing, then how does unemployment keep falling... weird?
I also do not want to hear another call for impeachment until somebody can tell me what law he broke. Remember lying is not against the law unless you do it under oath (Clinton), and the Patriot Act (wire tapping) is legal approved twice by a majority of Democrats in Congress.
Let the thumbs down begin.

George Bush is a loser like the rest of the Republicans that support him. He will go down in history as the most incompetent president the United States has ever had.
Time to get a president with some brains and hope that they are put in place by the Religious Right Extremist Republicans.

I think the man is caught between a rock and a hard place. No sympathy for him whatsoever though, he engineered this mess and he needs to clean it up. He's desperately trying to find a way to take a new direction in Iraq without taking the advice of Democrats, the Iraq Study Group, or anyone who isn't from his inner circle. The one thing even his supporters know is that he is incapable of admitting he's wrong about anything. It makes me very angry that our soldiers, our country, Iraq, and the rest of the world has to wait on him to decide how to handle his ego.

i imagine it truly is to early to guage even if Obama is the purely right president because he purely were given on his time period. even with the actual incontrovertible reality that he has accomplish some issues, its to early to guage, you comprehend what I recommend? perhaps Obama purely did this to make an excellent impact and do what he needs? Who is acquainted with. Bush, on the different hand did no longer have this manner of solid time period because the senators/representatives needed Al Gore to win the election, causing Bush to make a nasty impact, finest right into a mistake, that's the Iraq warfare. therefore, making each and every individual (maximum no longer all and dissimilar), hate Bush

I feel like 99% of the human population, I don't support him. I wonder how 31% of Americans are stupid enough to still approve of his failed presidency.
Bush. Like a rock. Only dumber.

I voted for him because he was the only candidate who spoke his mind. When he was governor of Texas, a lady on Death Row asked him for a pardon. he wrote back to her right away telling her the he would not and gave her his reasons for not doing so. Most candidates (like Jon Kerry) just dance around the question with useless information until they have filled what they think is sufficient air time, even though the question remains unanswered. I will not stand by anyone (even at work) who is too afraid to voice his or her opinion to win public favor.

He's good at appealing to his political base during elections with Karl Rove and others pulling the strings.
