34.
3^70 gets 2.....something and ^33. Because 2 is before the decimal point, you will need to add it to 33. 33+1 (hope you can do this...) equals 34.

So there are 34 digits. Beats counting them like the idiots below me.

If you want to find this without actually computing 3^70, notice that the number of digits in a number is equal to the integer part of its base-10 logarithm plus 1. For example,

log10 (3) = 0.477 => 1 digits
log10 (55) = 1.74036 => 2 digits
log10 (123456789123456789) = 17.0915 => 18 digits.

We have log10 (3^70) = 70 log10 (3) = 33.39 => 34 digits.

So 3^70 has 34 digits.

An alternate way to discover this is to compute 3^70, which is:

2503155504
9932416013
1557198608
5849.

This has 34 digits, so our result checks out.

One way to do this is to say that
3^70 = 10^(log10(3^70))
= 10^(70*log10(3))
well, log10(3) is about .48, and .48*70 is 33.4
So we know that the number we're looking for is between 10^33 and 10^34
Well, 10^1 has 2 digits, 10^2 has three digits, etc., so 10^33 must have 34 digits and since the number is LESs than 10^34, it does not have 35 digits.
So the answer must be 34.

From logarithms, log (3^70) = 70 log 3 in base 10
log 3= .477 (if I remember it right). Thus log (3^70) is appproximately 33.39, or about 2.5x 10^33. We should be expecting a 34-digit result

You deleted the question for part nine of your essay:

Well... it is a good attempt, but you mention states and then mention countries in the same sentence, not consistent. You need to break the last sentence into multiple sentences, and aim for
1. more consist ant use of language and 2. avoid repeating the same groups of words over and over again.

If I spend time answering a question, I would like people to spend the time reading my efforts.

If there isn't any reduce on operation symbols, then the most impressive answer is: 999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... with the factorial symbols going out to infinity. therefore, the finest numerical fee you are able to write with 3 digits is infinity. for sure, there are 1000's of alternative ideas to get infinity with 3 digits, yet that's one way.
