I want to write a children's book and eventually make it into a children's animated show.What do I do first?

I know it will be a hit as I work with preschoolers and they love it. Please help!

Assuming you are a first time author, the first thing you have to do is write the book. It is very rare for an agent to even look at a project from a first time author, unless it is finished. I would suggest you get an agent if you really intend to have you book published. Sure they take about 15 percent, but if you don't get an agent, chances are you'll get zero and 15 percent of zero is zero. :)
