He was tired of losing in Philly and asked that they traded him. Philadelphia's GM then said he would try to accomadate AI's request.

The Sixers have lost eight straight games and are 2-15 since a 3-0 start. And not only that, the organization seems to have no desire to make any moves to make the team better. Last year they were horrible, and they made NO major moves or signings in the offseason. They're the exact same team as last year, so unsurprisingly, they're just as bad. The Sixers have literally been "rebuilding" for the past five years. A.I.'s been as loyal as you can expect a player to be, but understandably he's frustrated. I can't blame him.

he FINALLY realized that he is not going to get anywhere with the sixers so last tuesday (dec.5th)..he talked to the general manager Billy King and "asked" or "demanded" to be traded...bout time...good for him. i know he will shine wherever he go.

I heard he didn't show up for practice twice, showing his distaste for the team. He is still #1 in my book!
