I had to go away and have a bit of a think about this one, but it is amazing how helpful a truckload of drugs and hard liquor can be over questions like this.

Most of us have learnt about how our bodies rebuild themselves over time. As I recall it takes seven years for every part of your body to replace itself.

Soooooooo, a LOT will depend on how far back in time you travel.

If it is more than seven years, it is self evident that you are an entirely different person to the one you are about to nudge off the twig. Accordingly, you can kill your earlier self with complete impunity.

If the time-travel taxi drops you off early [specifically less than seven years into the past] you will be in a situation where you still share some cells with the other former you. It is clearly impossible for the same cell to be in the two different locations at the same point in time and space and the Universe will immediately cease to exist.

Of course, it would just be plain silly to save parts of yourself (hair, nailclippings or any body fluids for example) and use them to fashion your Weapon of Personal Destruction.

I hope I don't need explain why.

you would likely disentergrate as you kill your past self. Or....You would die lying besides your past self leaving crime investegators to wonder what the hell is going on.Or....You wouldn't go back in time because you can't. Or.... You would kill ur past self and you would relive your life from that point(at which you returned) to the point in time that u left

matter cannot occupie the same space so if you killed yourself you would be erased from history in other words you would die and would have never existed

Since you couldn't go back in time, you'll live.
