Annie is a really cute movie and has no sex in it. It's totally appropriate for kids. The only thing I can think of the the review might have meant is that there is some flirting and a slight impling of wanting of sex, but very small and almost hardly noticed, at least by children. Let me explain Miss. Hannigan(Carol Burnett) is attracted to Mr. Warbucks(Albert Finney) and makes advances in a song called Sign!:
Sign!
I make a very dry martini.
Right here!
I make a very wet souffle.
Just your name
Don't be so mean you mean old meanie!
Come my dear.
Let's you and me make, why shouldn't we make, hay!
I have an appointment at one.
This way!
You ever been to "Bonas Ires"?
Where?
I hunger for the Argentine.
Argenteen!
Let's me and you fill up our diaries.
What? Stop!
Buy me a ruby.
No!
Why shouldn't you be mine!?
I got your number you like to rumba.
I'll call ya' Ollie, my hot tomalie.
This...
And now I gotcha
...file...
my cucaracha!
...from my private eye.
Ay, ay, ay, ay!
You spend your ev'nings in the shanties
You had me followed?
imbibing quarts of bathtub gin!
Bronchitis!
And here you're dancing in your scanties!
Great gams!
With some old geezer called Little Caesar.
He's an uncle!
You lock The Orphans in the closet!
They love it!
You hock their Christmas souvenirs!
A drink?
You steal the funds you should deposit.
It's frech.
You make them grovel, while you buy lavoliers.
You'll...
Must you upset me?
...sit...
Why don't you pet me?
...out this...
It's you I crave now.
...century...
Let's misbehave now.
...in some...
You wanna smoochie,
...deep dark...
my little poochie?
...penitentiary!
Jail?
Sign!
I guess I'll never know the feeling
You'll rot in jail,
of fingers running through my hair.
...in Sing. Sing. Sing.
I guess this means no "Bonas Iries".
Will you sign!
Well, I don't need you,
That's fine!
so just forget me.
The dotted line.
Forget my sweetness,
Don't whine!
Forget you met me,
You can't decline!
This day is sorta,
Just sign!
my bread and Waterloo.
Sign!
Why didn't you say so in the first place? - Swhine!

I watched this version when I was growing up & I liked it. Carol Burnett plays Miss Hannigan, the tyrannical orphanage director who has an obvious dislike for children. Most of the film shows her drinking heavily (from her bathtub full of gin) & stumbling around in her dress slips. I remember she flirted shamelessly with all of the men who visited the orphanage but I wouldn't say it was obscene.
Tim Curry plays her scheming brother, Rooster, and Bernadette Peters plays his partner in crime girlfriend, Lily St. Regis. Some of their musical numbers did come across as, well a little trashy, but let's face it that was the intended purpose. It just added to the character portrayal. All in all I'd say it's no worse than some of the commercials you see on TV these days.

OK, I think I know where you have things mixed up. Tim Curry had a very minor part in "Annie", but that's a very nice family movie... rated G.
You are probably thinking about "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", which is pretty raunchy. There are a number of scenes with sexual situations.

Oh! I think you're talking about when Carol Burnett tries to seduce Daddy Warbucks. She really throws herself at him, lays it on really thick.
Tim Curry plays her brother in the movie, Bernadette Peters's husband. They sing "Easy Street" together and its well worth seeing just for that one song. It's not a bad movie actually. But Tim doesn't show up until the last half.
*sigh* Tim Curry rulz!

WHAT! too much sex in it?!?!
You're talking about annie here. You know, the little children's movie 'Annie'. It has no sex or anything like that in it. Its about a lil orphan who gets adopted by a rich man named Daddy Warbucks.
I personally LOVE the movie. I've seen it around 3 times and i would watch it again.
So yea, this movie is highly recommended.

I Loved it. I don't know how many times I watched it growing up. Not only is Tim Curry good in it, but Carol Burnett is amazing. There's no sex in it. It's rated like G or PG. The closest thing you get to sex is Carol hitting on men. No one is nude, no rude language.

Uh - there's no sex in the movie Annie.
I have loved the show since I was a little girl. Tim Curry is good in it - but his part is fairly small.

I grew up watching that movie and I still love it.
There's no sex in it.
Make sure you watch the original version with Tim Curry, and not the lame remake
