Life didn't get meaningless. You no longer perceive the meaning.
Find the meaning by:
1. volunteering / charity work (seriously) - e.g., visit with elderly
2. tutoring a child
3. socialize more - not necessarily dating, but social clubs like coed sports leagues
4. take a class for fun - about film, literature, social issues,...
5. change jobs or get an additional job for pure interest
It's not easy, but you have to get out there. The meaning in life is found in "people", especially giving of yourself to other people.
Good luck.
Peace.

I make a meaning. I either change what I don't like, or I come up with a goal and try for it. You're the master of your own future. I think that you make the meaning in your life, not some god, government or other person. You need to make meaning for your own life, a meaning that will be fulfilling to you. Think about what will make you happy. Or, you can ask yourself, will anything make me happy? Buddhism teaches that happiness is mostly just an outlook, thought, or feeling in your mind. It can be achieved through meditation without changing much about your life.

Think positively! Start doing the things on the to do list. Take care of me. Smile. Go on a vacation, even if it is to the next town or just getting out. Drinking lots of water and eating right helps me to have a more positive outlook on life, plus getting enough sleep. Contacting an old friend, or calling a loved one will help also. Just do what you love, maybe you love sailing and you haven't sailed in a while, you could just be missing that. Put the things you love back into your life, you will thank yourself for it and have fun as well.

Rollover and Bubbler hit it right on the head, I think. You'll waste a lot of life's adventures if you lock yourself in your room and wait for the meaning to come to you. Free will allows us to put our own meanings into our lives.
Life is often a lot like a movie - sometimes it's worthwhile to be the audience, other times you have to be the screenwriter and director to give it a jump start, especially when you're in the kind of funk you're in now.
What often helps me to climb out of a rut is to read something inspirational that will get me off my backside and moving in what has usually turned out to be an awesome new direction. Life without change sure would be boring. I think it's much harder to grow in a life that becomes so "meaningless" or boring that it soon numbs oneself to the childlike joy at the prospect of there being limitless discoveries over a limitless number of horizons.
Here's a site that has helped me regain direction and insight into my own life; the following link will take you directly to a thought-provoking blog entry that, well, I'll let you be the judge yourself in your OWN life:

I think this happens to everyone. You just sort of get into a funk with the same daily routine. Two things always help me. First, I will try to remind myself how lucky I am compared to some others that I know who are in much worse situations. Second, I always try to start some project to get me motivated. It could be something as simple as cleaning out some stuff at home or painting a room, or even refinishing a piece of furniture. I find that some physical activity and doing something productive helps to get rid of the funk pretty quickly.

Well.
Life hasn't gotten meaningless - it always has been.
The only meaning in life is the meaning you give it. If you feel you have lost that - it's up to you to bring it back. It's a different answer for every asker - and all are equally valid.
You have to choose -
And move forward.
You have complete freedom.
And are in total control of your life's meaning.
In the words of Bob Marley

Smile... it would worth it to know that life is so meaningless.
To bring back "life" into your life is to find the happiness that have gone by. Then... as parents who loves you would usually say "wake up and do your home works". In the corner of that boring life has some secret doors to unlock for you to enjoy it.
Don't be so self centered. Give smile all around you, make them happy.

* Take walk for at least 30 mins and breath in & out taking in as much oxygen as possible
* cook food for dinner and share it with friends & family
* clean the house and light up nice scented candles like vanilla or apple pie
* take pictures outdoors
* go to the local animal shelter and help out as a volunteer
* Talk to a close friend that I know will always make me laugh.
* Put some dance music on and move around like there is no tomorrow :)

Life is never meaningless. You may have to search for a meaning, but rest assured, it is there. I don't worry about whether or not I can find it, I just live from day to day the best I can.
