does anyone like the smell of these and does anyone use them for any real purpose?

The leaves are edible in salads and the heads are used for wines. They are one of my favorite photo subjects.

YES In the spring we dig up the green part and cook them just like spinach. my father used to make dandelion wine. check it out they wont hurt you.

Don't really like the smell. But, if you cut off the yellow tops and dip them in batter and fry them.. oooh good. They taste sort of like mushrooms.

you can make wine them (though i"m not found of it)
