No, ofcourse not. It's just that music scenes change, and the Arena Rock that DMB made so popular is now over, and they're trying to find their 'spot'. Music scene has moved onto the 'new' punk music, and bands like Panic! and The Killers. True DMB fans haven't left them! I love them regardless, not a 'fairweather' fan.

No. They had a shaky album or two, like everyday, but they are getting back into their groove now. Just because they put out a "best of" album does not mean they are washed out. They have so many songs out, about 6 studio albums, this is just to peak the interests of non-listeners. And you haven't experienced dave until you see him live. Then he is in his prime.

Let's put it this way - he hasn't put out anything new and noteworthy in at least 3 years. If his next album is a 'best of' that puts the lid on the coffin. Then again, he might pull a Fleetwood and come out with something truly revolutionary that knocks people's socks off. Time will tell.
